Rakul Preet Singh wants her work not relationship with Jackky Bhagnani to be a talking point

Ever since actor Rakul Preet Singh and producer Jackky Bhagnani made their relationship official on social media, they have become the most-talked-about couple in B-town. They often make headlines for their public appearances and social media PDAs. However, Rakul does want her relationship to drive the conversation about her.

In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, the De De Pyaar De actress revealed that she and Jackky did not want to hide their relationship but acknowledge it. But she does not want it to be a talking point at all times rather she wants her work to speak for her.

“Anybody’s personal life is as normal as anything else in their life. It is just that if we were not actors, it wouldn’t be a talking point. In fact, I feel being in a relationship is the most natural progression for any human being. Like after parents, having siblings, and then having friends, you have a partner. We don’t want to hide and say ‘we are just good friends’. We want to acknowledge that. But do I want it to be a talking point at all points? The answer is no,” the actress said.

Further, Rakul added, “My work should speak. Both of us are on our own individual journeys when it comes to our professional sphere. And that’s it”. Last year, the actress took the occasion of her 31st birthday to make her relationship with Jackky Bhagnani Instagram official. Both shared the same photo on their respective Instagram accounts and wrote different captions.

Jackky wrote, “Without you, days don’t seem like days. Without you, eating the most delicious food is no fun. Sending Birthday wishes to the most beautiful soul who means the world to me!!!
