The second single from the upcoming Telugu movie Pushpa 2: The Rule was released on Wednesday. The song, titled "Sooseki," is a romantic melody described by the filmmakers as "the couple song." It revolves around the enduring romance between Allu Arjun's character, Pushpa, and his wife, Srivalli, played by Rashmika Mandanna.
The song primarily focuses on Srivalli's adulation towards her husband. The filmmakers have also released behind-the-scenes footage showing the efforts that went into filming this song. Allu Arjun and Rashmika are seen enjoying themselves as they perform the groovy steps to the melody. Choreographer Ganesh Acharya has devised simple yet alluring steps to appeal to young audiences and inspire countless dance reels on social media.
The Oscar-winning lyricist Chandrabose penned the lyrics for "Sooseki," while composer Devi Sri Prasad created the melodic beats. The song is sung by Shreya Ghoshal.
It would be an understatement to say that Pushpa 2 is one of the most-awaited movies this year. The production of the film is in its final stages and is set to hit screens worldwide on August 15.
Pushpa: The Rise became the biggest hit in Allu Arjun's career. While the film was expected to be a box office success, its performance across the country, transcending language and cultural barriers, exceeded expectations.

Pushpa received a phenomenal reception in North Indian states, even though the filmmakers didn't make a significant effort to promote the movie there. The film added to the growing momentum and demand for South Indian movies in the Hindi-speaking regions.
Pushpa outperformed even Ranveer Singh's biopic drama 83 at the box office and resonated with audiences in the Hindi heartland. The success of this film has created a lot of anticipation for Pushpa 2.
