Priyanka Chopra calls Nick Jonas the mature one in their relationship; reveals why surrogacy was a ‘necessary step’

2022 was an exciting and eventful year for global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas and American singer Nick Jonas . After three long years of a happy marriage, the husband and wife welcomed their first child into the world via surrogacy. They named their little angel Malti Marie Chopra Jonas , and also introduced her to the world on social media. But there was always an emoji over her face in pictures, as Priyanka and Nick don’t plan to reveal their daughter’s face any time soon. When PeeCee had shared that she opted for a surrogate, a lot was speculated on the internet. Well, the beauty has now broken her silence.

In an interview with Vogue, Priyanka revealed the real reason why she decided to opt for surrogacy. The global diva was quoted saying, “I had medical complications. This was a necessary step, and I’m so grateful I was in a position where I could do this. Our surrogate was so generous, kind, lovely and funny, and she took care of this precious gift for us for six months.” Malti Marie was delivered a full trimester before her due date in January last year. The next three months were difficult for the family as she was a premature baby, but they got through it together.

While Nick is 10 years younger to Priyanka, the actress shared that he is actually the more mature one in their relationship. She referred to him as a ‘wise man beyond his years’. Priyanka explained, “He just sees through the fog for me. He sees the best in people.” Well, everyone needs a partner who values them and can remind them of their worth in times of self doubt. Priyanka and Nick clearly found the ‘perfect one’ in each other, which is what makes them one of our favourite star couples!
