Following the devastating landslide tragedy that hit Wayanad, Kerala, people across the world have been coming forward to lend a helping hand to the victims. Besides Mollywood stars, many celebrities from other industries have expressed their anguish over the tragedy and have also made generous contributions.
The latest star to donate to the landslide victims is none other than Telugu superstar and pan-India icon Prabhas. The actor, who has many fans across Kerala, donated a generous amount of Rs 2 crore to the Kerala CM Relief Fund. His philanthropy has been winning praise online, as netizens have been hailing him for being a selfless hero, both on and off screen.

Before Prabhas, many other Telugu stars, including Allu Arjun, Chiranjeevi, and Ram Charan, donated funds to help the victims. Allu Arjun pledged Rs 25 lakh, while Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan jointly donated Rs 1 crore to the Kerala CM Relief Fund.
Kollywood steps in to help Wayanad landslide victims
Before the contributions from Tollywood actors, many Tamil celebrities, including Vikram, Suriya, and Karthi, came forward to help the people in need in Wayanad.

Vikram extended his support to the state government's efforts to rebuild the landslide-affected area and rehabilitate survivors by donating Rs 20 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund.
Suriya, his wife Jyothika, and his brother Karthi collectively donated Rs 50 lakh to the Distress Relief Fund. Pushpa 2 actress Rashmika Mandanna is also reported to have donated Rs 10 lakh to the Kerala relief fund.
