While some fans were happy to see the actor enjoying his heart out on this joyous occasion, others were quick to troll him and remind him of his latest movie Shehzada bombing at the box office. For the unversed, Kartik’s Shehazada was released in the theatres with many expectations but failed to meet the expectations proving to be a box office dud.

One of the netizens wondered why the Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety actor is looking so happy and stated, “Shehzada flop ho gayi, fir bhi Kartik sir itne khush hain?” while another user said, “Movie flop hone k bad kamariya hilate hue Shehzada.” A netizen furthermore added, “Shehzada Flop Ho gyi.” Another user went on to say, “Shehzada flop hone ka party.” A user took a dig at Kartik Aaryan and accused him of allegedly trying to copy superstar Shah Rukh Khan before his film tanked at the box office. The comment read, “Shehzada flop hone ke Khushi me naach rha hai Shahrukh Khan ko copy maar rha tha.” However, not everyone was harsh to the actor and some praised him for looking dapper in the video and also being humble enough to dance with everyone on the occasion.
