Parineeti Chopra-Raghav Chadha Wedding: Priyanka Chopra to miss cousin's nuptial ceremony, Here's why

Parineeti Chopra is all set to get married to her politician fiance Raghav Chadha in an intimate yet lavish wedding ceremony in Rajasthan. While the guests began arriving at the venue for the celebrations, reports suggest that global icon and Parineeti’s cousin Priyanka Chopra might miss the wedding.

Following the Ardas and Sufi night in Delhi, the couple on Friday flew to Udaipur for the wedding festivities on September 23 and September 24. Amid this, a report maintained that Priyanka would miss the wedding due to her prior work commitments. However, Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra has landed at the wedding destination along with other guests. She was seen wearing a co-ord set comprising a short kurta and loose pants.

Earlier, speculations were rife that Priyanka would arrive with her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, while her husband Nick Jonas would give it a miss. Well, the plan appears to change at the last moment. Well, the actress made her presence felt at Parineeti’s engagement ceremony though. She wore a lime green saree and looked breathtakingly beautiful. The bride-to-be had also shared the pictures from the album which also featured Priyanka applying tilak on Raghav’s forehead.

Meanwhile, Parineeti’s close-knit friends from the film industry including Sidharth Malhotra and Arjun Kapoor are expected to grace her wedding. For the wedding, Parineeti has opted for friend Manish Malhotra’s designed lehenga. It is being said that the ensemble would be simple with less embroidery and heavy jewellery accentuating her looks. On the other hand, Raghav will be wearing outfits from designer Pawan Sachdeva’s collections.

Coming back to Priyanka, the actress was last seen in the Amazon Prime Video series Citadel. She is currently filming for Heads of State with Idris Alba and John Cena. Parineeti, on the other hand, will be seen in Mission Raniganj and Chamkila.
