'One of your best performances..': Katrina Kaif receives heartwarming praise from Angad Bedi for Merry Christmas

Katrina Kaif has been bestowed with praises for her latest performance in Sriram Raghavan’s thriller Merry Christmas from all corners. In the latest, her close friend and actor Angad Bedi shared an unseen video of their Merry Christmas celebration and penned an appreciation note for her. In the video, Katrina, her husband Vicky Kaushal, Angad and his wife Neha Dhupia are seen in a happy mood as they celebrate Christmas.

Taking to Instagram, Angad wrote, “Its almost end of jan.. but its still a very "Merry Christmas" in the theatres.. well done kat may you shoulder many more such films and also..may the light always be upon you!!! One of your best performances.. its right up there(clapping hand emojis)” Soon after fans flooded the comment section with their reactions. A user wrote, “Her bestest!!! Earlier, Vicky also lauded her wife’s powerful performance in Merry Christmas. He wrote, “#MerryChristmas everyone! So freaking proud of you love for how beautifully you have surrendered yourself to Sriram Sir’s masterful story telling and to the complexities of ‘Maria’… her rawness, her mystery, her magic… all done with such honesty and nuance! And that dance… uff! This one’s truly your best work till date.” He also appreciated other cast and crew of the film.

Merry Christmas is about two strangers who cross path on the Christmas Eve and unexpected turn of events turn their life upside down. The film sees Katrina sharing the screen space with Vijay Sethupathi. The film shot in both Hindi and Tamil versions and have different supporting casts. The film has Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, and Tinnu Anand in its Hindi version. Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, and Rajesh Williams feature in the Tamil version. Radhika Apte and Ashwini Kalsekar have made special cameos in both versions. So far, the film has amassed over 17 crore at the box office upon release on January 12, 2024.
