Bollywood star Alia Bhatt is all set to feature next in Vasan Bala’s upcoming film Jigra, alongside The Archies actor Vedang Raina. The makers of Jigra released the film’s teaser recently showcasing the actress in an action-adventure mode. The teaser has been receiving a lot of love from the audience ever since its release and now Alia Bhatt’s mother-in-law, actress Neetu Kapoor has reacted to the teaser on her social media.

Neetu Kapoor on Alia Bhatt’s Jigra teaser

Taking to Instagram stories, Neetu Kapoor shared the poster image of Jigra featuring Alia Bhatt. Along with the caption, she wrote, “Our Jigra out to get hers (fire and heart emoji).” Neetu used the music from the film's announcement video as the background score of her story. In the poster, Alia is looking at the camera with an intense expression.

Alia Bhatt is married to actor Ranbir Kapoor who is the son of veteran actress Neetu Kapoor and late actor Rishi Kapoor.

Alia’s mother actress Soni Razdan also reacted to the teaser by sharing it on her Instagram stories. Along with the teaser, she wrote, “This is such an unusual teaser... cannot wait to see the whole film! Well done everyone.” Resharing the story on her Instagram stories, Alia wrote, “I love you mama! Come back now!”

The teaser showcases the sibling bond, and a sister’s urge to protect her brother at all costs.

Jigra release date

Helmed by Vasan Bala, Jigra, starring Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina, is written by Debashish Irengbam and Vasan Bala. Jigra is backed by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Alia Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt and Somen Mishra under their banners Dharma Productions, Viacom18 Studios and Eternal Sunshine Productions. The thriller-drama film will hit the theatres on October 11.

Alia Bhatt is currently juggling the promotions of Jigra and shooting her next film, Alpha alongside actress Sharvari Wagh. The actress recently completed her Kashmir schedule for the film and was seen arriving at the Mumbai airport with her daughter Raha Kapoor.

The actress is also reported to be starting her shoot for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s epic drama film Love & War alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
