10 years of Manam
Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s 2014 family entertainer Manam as it is set to complete 10 years. The film, which starred Nagarjuna, A Nageswara Rao and Naga Chaitanya, will complete 10 years of its release on May 23. On this occasion, the makers of the film have decided to re-release the movie in select theatres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
As part of the promotional activities for the re-release, the makers of the film took to their social media pages to share a fun clip of leading man Naga Chaitanya re-enacting the iconic Prema dialogue from the film. In the video, Naga Chaitanya is seen rehearsing the line from the film but finds it difficult to say it without errors! Watch the clip where Naga Chaitanya tries to mouth the memorable line from the film. In the end of the clip, the actor urges fans to recreate the scene to celebrate the film’s anniversary.
Manam holds a special place, says Naga Chaitanya
When the re-release news was announced earlier by the makers, Naga Chaitanya tweeted “Manam holds a very special place in my heart. Excited to bring ANRLivesOn back to theatres to celebrate 10 years.” The romantic family drama not only is special to Naga Chaitanya, but also holds a very special place in Telugu cinema for bringing three generations of the Akkineni family — Nageswara Rao, Nagarjuna, and Naga Chaitanya — together on the screen. The film’s music tracks composed by Anup Rubens gained huge popularity when it was released, contributing to the film’s overall success. The film also starred Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Shriya Saran as the female leads.

Manam was directed by Vikram Kumar. Incidentally, the film was also the last on-screen appearance of legendary actor A Nageswara Rao, who passed away in January 2014, a few weeks before the film's release.
On the work front, Naga Chaitanya is currently working on his upcoming sea action drama Thandel alongside Sai Pallavi.
