‘Mujhe apne ghar jaana hai’: Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone’s pic with Alia Bhatt & Ranbir Kapoor sparks meme fest

One of Bollywood’s most in love couples, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor reached the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre twinning in royal blue traditional outfits yesterday. They attended the opening ceremony of the International Olympic Committee session along with several other stars from the country. While Alia and Ranbir walked hand in hand, Hindi film industry’s reigning king Shah Rukh Khan and queen Deepika Padukone flew solo. But an inside picture has now revealed that the Jawan co-stars were seated together at the event. Interestingly, this viral snap has also given us a glimpse of Ranbir and Alia.

This picture of the four popular actors has not only taken the internet by storm but has also sparked a meme fest. It has become like fodder for funny memes. Some netizens were reminded of their school days. They even compared Ranbir, Alia, Deepika and Shah Rukh to students sitting in lecture. For instance, along with the picture, a social media user tweeted: “pov: me and my friends during a hectic lecture 😂”. Meanwhile another shared the GIF of Alia from Raazi where her character broke down and said: “Mujhe apne ghar jaana hai.”

A video also went viral on social media, which left several trolls accusing Shah Rukh and Alia of dozing off during the opening ceremony speech. But there were also several fans who were over the moon with joy to see these beloved stars together in one frame. On the work front, Ranbir is currently busy gearing up for Animal whereas Shah Rukh will soon return to the silver screen with Dunki. Meanwhile Alia recently announced her next film Jigra. Deepika, on the other hand, was introduced as Lady Singham aka Shakti Shetty, the first female police character in his cop universe.
