Mrunal Thakur on Friday put an end to speculations about her wedding with a Telugu actor. The actress issued an official statement via video message wherein she rubbished the rumours of tying the knot with a Telugu boy. Calling it a fake report, the actress clarified that she got a blessing recently but she herself doesn’t know about the boy.
A few hours ago, Mrunal took to Instagram stories and said, “I am so sorry to break your hearts guys. To all the stylists, designers, friends and family who have been calling me constantly for the past one hour when they got to know that I am getting married to some Telugu boy. I also want to know who this boy is in the first place. Secondly, I am so sorry ye galat afwaah hai kyunki mujhe bas blessing mili thi..It is so funny that I cannot express how funny this rumour is. I couldn’t control. Hogi shaadi jaldi, ladka aap hi dhund dena, bata dena mujhe, location, venue sab bhej dena,” the actress ended the video with a laugh.
For those unaware, Allu Arvind recently blessed Mrunal to get married soon. While presenting her Best Female Actor Award for Sita Ramam, the producer said,“I want her to settle down in Hyderabad.” Interestingly, Arvind had given the same advice to actress Lavanya Tripathi, who recently tied the knot with Telugu star Varun Tej. The video soon sparked rumours of the actress’ marriage.
Earlier, Mrunal opened up about the idea of getting married. She said, "I believe in marriage. I have seen so many successful marriages around me. Just because they are made for each other. Sometimes, we need to realise that we need to marry the person who is made for us. Now you may find this person when you are 18, 20, in your 30s, 40s, 50s, or 60s,” she told India Today.
Meanwhile, workwise, Mrunal was recently seen in 'Aankh Micholi' directed by Umesh Shukla.. Paresh Rawal, Sharman Joshi and others are also a part of the film. Besides it, the actress will next be seen in war-drama Pippa alongside Ishaan Khatter and Soni Razdan.
