Kavin and Andrea Jeremiah’s upcoming film Kavin 07 is now titled Mask. The film was officially launched with a puja ceremony today, on May 17, 2024. The film will be helmed by Vikarnan Ashokan, who won the Best Short Film Award at the Behind Woods Gold Medal Awards for his short film and has worked as an assistant director to director Vetrimaaran. The film will be produced by Vetrimaaran under his home banner, Grass Root Films.

The Star-fame actor took to his social media pages to share new pictures of the puja ceremony. “So this happened… :) Double thank you, #Vetri sir. For taking the time to grace us with your presence in our movie “Star”. For breathing life into our fiction and making it a captivating reality. #TheUniverseDoesFallInLoveWithAStubbornHeart :) Proud to be associated with “The” Vetri sir (sic),” the actor wrote.

Notably, the new collaboration comes after director Vetrimaaran made a cameo appearance in Kavin’s latest outing Star. Fans are now eager to witness the exciting collaboration between the young talent and the acclaimed director.

Andrea Jeremiah to play a gangster in Kavin's Mask

As reported earlier, the upcoming film marks the maiden collaboration between Kavin and actress Andrea Jeremiah. Popular music composer GV Prakash Kumar has been roped in to compose the music for the film. Although the makers are yet to release other updates about the new film, a few reports reveal that Andrea will be playing a female gangster in Kavin 07. Andrea, who has amazed audiences with her grey-shaded roles in films such as Thupparivaalan and Vada Chennai, is all set to deliver yet another banger role as a gangster. More details about the film will soon be revealed.

Meanwhile, Kavin, who has been basking in the success of his latest outing Star, will next be seen in Bloody Beggar, which will be directed by Sivabalan Muthukumar under director Nelson Dilipkumar's maiden production venture, Filament Pictures.
