Marco update: Riyaz Khan and Unni Mukundan
Unni Mukundan’s upcoming crime thriller Marco already boasts an exciting cast, and now the makers have added another popular star to the project. In the latest development, the film’s team welcomed actor Riyaz Khan. Sharing the announcement, they released a fun video of Riyaz Khan arriving on the sets of Marco.
Upon meeting Unni, he is seen saying his viral dialogue, "Adich Keri Vaa." The actor has recently been enjoying newfound popularity on social media after his dialogue from the 2004 film Jalolsavam went viral. Check out his onboarding video here!
Unni Mukundan’s Marco first-look poster
Directed by Haneef Adeni, Marco is a spin-off of the 2019 Nivin Pauly-starrer Mikhael. The crime thriller will feature Unni reprising his role as Marco Jr. The makers recently unveiled the first-look poster from the film, which showcased the young star in a terrifying, blood-soaked appearance. The menacing poster immediately grabbed the attention of fans, who are eager to watch the unravelling of the ruthless killer’s backstory. Marco is also said to be the first Indian film to feature a villain making a comeback as a hero in a spin-off.

Cast and crew of Marco
The upcoming film stands out not only for its budget but also for introducing new talent with a familiar lineage—Abhimanyu Shammy Thilakan, the grandson of the legendary actor Thilakan and son of Shammi Thilakan. Alongside Unni Mukundan and Abhimanyu, the film features Siddique, Jagadish, Anson Paul, and Kabir Duhan Singh in significant roles. Yukti Thareja, known for the song Lut Gaye, will play the female lead.
On the technical side, Chandru Selvaraj handles the cinematography, and the movie is produced by Sharif Muhammad and Abdul Ghadaf under the banners of Cubes Entertainments in association with Unni Mukundan Films.
