'Many rumours going around..': Sidhu Moosewala's father reacts to his wife's pregnancy at the age of 58

It was earlier reported last month that the late Punjabi singer-rapper Sidhu Moosewala’s parents were expecting their second child. It was furthermore speculated that the baby would be born in March. Now, Sidhu’s father Balkaur Singh has reacted to these speculations.

For the unversed, the reports stated that the ‘So High’ singer’s mother Charan Kaur had managed to conceive through IVF at the age of 58. Sidhu who was assassinated in May 2022 was the only child of the couple. Balkaur shared a statement on his Facebook profile in Punjabi. The statement translated into English read, “We are thankful to Sidhu's fans, who are concerned about our family. But we plead there are so many rumours going around about our family, but they are not to be believed. Whatever news is there, the family will share with you all."

Meanwhile, some speculations also suggest that Charan Kaur has given birth to twins. In February, family members of Moosewala confirmed to the Tribune that the late singer’s mother had successfully conceived with the IVF treatment and her baby was due in March. The ‘Same Beef’ singer’s uncle Chamkaur Singh confirmed the news too.

Talking about Moosewala’s brutal death, the singer was shot dead by six assailants. The ‘East Side Flow’ singer along with his friend and cousin were out in a jeep to Jawaharke village in Mansa. The Punjab police special investigation team (SIT) is currently investigating his assassination. Reportedly, gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar, and Jaggu Bhagwanpuria had taken responsibility for killing Moosewala. The SIT had filed a chargesheet against 32 prime accused. On Moosewala’s birth anniversary (June 11) last year, his mother shared an emotional post remembering her son.

Kaur had shared, “Happy birthday son, on this day, my wishes and prayers came true when I held you for the first time, felt in the warmth of the bosom. And I came to know that Akal Purakh gave me a son. Blessings, I hope you know there was a slight redness on the small feet, who did not know that these small steps had traveled the whole world while sitting in the village, and thick eyes with which you would see and recognize the truth. They did not know that you were giving the generation of Punjab a different view of the world.” Sidhu Moosewala’s family members and fans have still been seeking justice for his murder.
