Malaika and Amrita Arora’s father Anil Arora breathed his last this morning (September 11). Anil died by suicide by jumping off his building when the family was not present with him. Now, Malaika and Amrita have reached their parents’ home. Along with them, Malaika’s former husband Arbaaz Khan and her ex-boyfriend and actor Arjun Kapoor were also seen at the venue.

The photographers captured videos of Malaika and Amrita Arora arriving at their parents’ home in Mumbai after the tragic news. In the video, an inconsolable Malaika is seen coming out of her car, wearing a red and white checkered print co-ord set. The model-actress was seen rushing inside the premises while wearing a mask.
Amrita Arora, however, arrived with her husband Shakeel Ladak. The actress was seen wearing an oversized blue shirt, paired with black leggings. Covering her face with her hands, Amrita was seen walking alongside her husband while moving inside the premises.
Arjun Kapoor and Arbaaz Khan rushed to the location soon after hearing the news. Arjun was seen walking amidst the crowd of photographers and moving towards the building. He was wearing a white shirt and black pants in the video.
According to reports, Anil passed away at 10.30 am at Ayesha Manor in Bandra (West) on September 11 by jumping from terrace. “Prima facie, it seems to be a case of suicide, but we are probing the incident from all angles. A process to file an accidental death report is on,” the police said.
Anil Arora was a Punjabi, who worked in Merchant Navy while Joyce Polycarp is a Malayali Christian. The couple got divorced when Malaika was 11 while her sister Amrita was 6. Speaking about the divroce, Malaika said in an interview with Grazia India, ''I had a wonderful childhood, but it wasn't easy. In fact, in retrospect, the word I would use to describe it is tumultuous. But tough times teach you important lessons too.''
