Malaika Arora feels beau Arjun Kapoor ‘gets her’ but when it comes to marriage she says, 'I am not ready ...'

Actors Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor have been madly in love with each other since the last six years. They never talked about their relationship in interviews, but also never tried hard to hide it. It was just natural! In the last few months, the two have become much more open about their love life and are not afraid to display their affection for one another anymore. Arjun even spoke about his lady love on an episode of Koffee With Karan 7 when he graced the koffee couch with his sister Sonam Kapoor Ahuja.

Well, in a recent chat with Masala magazine, Malaika got candid about her relationship. She revealed, “The best thing about Arjun is that not only that I bond with him, but he is also my best friend. It’s very important to love your best friend and fall in love with him. Arjun gets me, he understands me, he says it the way things are. I think we both are each other’s biggest cheerleaders as well. I can talk to him about anything and everything under the sun. That’s the most important bit about being in a relationship – you should be able to just be your true self and I can just be myself around Arjun.”

When asked about her plans to tie the nuptial knot with Arjun someday, Malaika shared that she believes the constitution of marriage is beautiful. However, one should not rush into it because of social requirement or pressure. Malaika explained, “Do it for the right reasons.” She went on to add, “It is a beautiful institution if you are with the right person. When it comes to my marriage, I think I am not ready to answer it just yet.”
