‘Make sure it’s Shehnaaz everywhere’: Guru Randhawa has a special request after watching Thank You For Coming; watch

After rocking the box office with Honsla Rakh and making her Bollywood debut with Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Shehnaaz Gill arrived in theatres today with her second Hindi film. Titled Thank You For Coming, the chick flick stars Bhumi Pednekar in the lead and discusses the taboos around female pleasure. Ahead of the release, makers held a special screening for friends and family of the star cast. At the red carpet event, Shehnaaz was joined by singer and fellow Punjabi superstar Guru Randhawa. Sharing pictures from the event with Guru, Varun Sharma and designer Ken Ferns, the actress had called them: “my family❤️❤️❤️.”

A video from the special screening had surfaced on social media where Shehnaaz rushed to greet Guru when he arrived to watch her film. They shared a warm hug before posing for the paparazzi. Many fans had gushed over their sweet friendship and strong bond. Much to our delight, Instant Bollywood has now uploaded another clip from the movie premiere featuring the new BFFs in town. In this video, Guru shared a special request for fans. He stated: “I want everybody to support her, like the way I am supporting her and you guys are supporting. And make sure it’s Shehnaaz everywhere, this year, next year, 10 years, 20 years.”

In the comment section below, there were some trolls who tried to bring Shehnaaz down. For instance, one nasty comment read: “Sucess?? Ek movie ayi thi salman k sath wo bi flop or dusri bi flop honi h😂 she know how to do overacting ..”, whereas another troll wrote: “Bigad gayi Bollywood walo k sath milkar 😢.” But a majority of fans showered love on the Bigg Boss 13 star and her journey. One social media user shared, “Guru and Shehnaaz ❤️ , these two are so adorable multitalented, still so humble grounded celebs making us believe in dreaming big with open eyes”, whereas another fan wrote: “Love their bond. They are support system for each other🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🧿.” A third comment read: “Bhagwan ek guru jaisa dost toh hum sab deserve karte hai..besties stay that way 🧿🙏.”
