Mahesh Babu celebrates 18 years of marriage with wifey Namrata Shirodkar in Switzerland, pens adorable note

South superstar Mahesh Babu marked 18 years of togetherness with his wife Namrata Shirodkar with an adorable social media post. Taking to Instagram, the actor shared a throwback photo with his wifey wherein the two could be seen smiling. Alongside it, he penned a note that read, “Us... A little crazy & a whole lot of love! 18 years together and forever to go! Happy anniversary NSG.” Replying to it, Namrata wrote, “And I love you too ..”

Namrata also took to her Instagram handle and dropped a mushy picture wherein she could be seen kissing Mahesh who is seen lying on the bed. “Celebrating 18 years of the best decision we ever made. Happy anniversary MB” Soon after congratulatory messages poured in from all corners. Even netizens spammed the comment section with love and blessings for the couple.

A day ago, the couple was spotted at Hyderabad airport as they were on the way to Switzerland for holiday. As it’s their anniversary, the lovebirds will be celebrating it in the foreign country. For the unversed, Mahesh and Namrata first met at the mahurat ceremony of Vamsi in 2000. It was during the shoot, the love blossomed between them and they started dating. It was on February 10, 2005, that they tied the knot. The couple is blessed with a son Gautham and a daughter Sitara.

On the professional front, Mahesh recently finished the first shooting schedule of his upcoming untitled film directed by Trivikram Srinivas . In the tentatively titled SSMB28, he will be seen sharing screen space with Pooja Hegde. After that, he will begin shooting for SS Rajamouli's next, SSMB29. On the other hand, Namrata, who had worked in films like Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai, Vaastav and Bride And Prejudice among others, quit acting after marriage citing that her husband wanted a non-working wife.
