The Bollywood celebrities took center stage as they stepped out of their houses to vote in the Maharashtra assembly election 2024. Bollywood and television celebrities like Hema Malini, Kunal Kemmu, and Saiyami Kher proudly flaunted their inked fingers on social media and urged everyone to fulfill their democratic duty.
Hema Malini asks citizens to vote
Taking to Instagram, veteran actress Hema Malini shared pictures of herself along with her daughter and actress Esha Deol. Dressed in a traditional green outfit, Hema flaunted her inked finger and urged the citizens of the state to go and vote today (November 20). She captioned the post, “I strongly appeal to everyone to cast your vote. It's your right. I have exercised my right. Have you?!”

Actor Kunal Kemmu also shared pictures of himself, along with his parents showcasing their inked fingers. He captioned the post, “Go Vote #doit #govote #maharashtraelection2024 #votingday.”
Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha Thadani also shared her experience of her first voting process. Sharing a sunkissed picture of herself, Rasha wrote, “my first vote proud to have contributed to the democratic process of our country.”
Actress Saiyami Kher shared a video depicting the bad conditions of her surroundings and urged the citizens to go vote if they want to see a change around them. She wrote, “I went to vote at 10:30 AM, there were 3 people in front of me. If you’re frustrated with the roads, the air we breathe, the lack of accountability, and want to see change, please vote. Please.”
Actress Aahana Kumra also shared pictures of herself with her mother showcasing their inked fingers. In the caption, Aahana said that voting is most important to exercise our constitutional right. She wrote, “It’s cool to vote! Woke up. Queued up. Voted. Because it’s the most important to exercise our constitutional right! Wake up. Go and Vote! Also celebrating Gopi’s first vote!”
Television actress Rupali Ganguly, singer Shreya Ghoshal, and cricketer Sachin Tendulkar also shared pictures of themselves on social media urging citizens to go out and vote.
