The buzz for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film Love And War starring Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal has already started. Now…adding to the buzz are the latest reports which reveal that the film’s cast is now all set to begin shooting for the first schedule in October.
Star cast of Love And War to begin shooting in October
According to a report by Pinkvilla, Love And War’s first schedule will start in the first week of October with actor Ranbir Kapoor, while Vicky Kaushal will join the actor later on October 10.
Love And War is reported to be an epic love triangle, set against the backdrop of a war with Ranbir having negative shades in his character. The report reveals, “Sanjay Leela Bhansali begins his journey on Love And War by shooting for some sole sequences featuring Ranbir Kapoor and then moves on to the friendship portions of RK and Vicky. He has planned and designed the schedule keeping the dates of his star-cast in mind.”
Alia Bhatt to join the cast at the end of the year
The report further revealed that the leading lady in the film- Alia Bhatt is expected to join the star cast later in December or in early January because of her dates already being given to Yash Raj Films’ Alpha. The actress will join Love And War after wrapping up Alpha in November.
“Alia has allotted bulk dates to YRF for the female spy universe film, Alpha. She will start Love And War after calling it a wrap on Alpha by the end of November/early December,” the report revealed.
The report concluded by saying, “Alia and Vicky have allotted over 200 days to Sanjay Leela Bhansali and won’t be shooting for any film till the director wraps up his epic love story. The idea is to call it a wrap on Love And War by the third quarter of 2025.”
While Alia has begun shooting for Alpha, Ranbir is shooting for his epic saga, Ramayana: Part One. On the other hand, Vicky Kaushal, is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, Chhava in December.
