'Let’s not make a big deal out of it': Sonu Nigam on reconciliation with Bhushan Kumar after a three-year feud

After a three-year feud, the relationship between singer Sonu Nigam and T-series head honcho Bhushan Kumar has become amicable. As per reports, the two have ended their differences and mutually talk things out. It happened a year ago when Aamir Khan insisted to have Sonu’s voice in the Main Ki Karaan song from Laal Singh Chadha. Bhushan, who owned music for the movie, decided to meet Sonu and that’s when they reconciled.

According to the Hindustan Times report, Sonu and Bhushan not only agreed to collaborate on Laal Singh Chadha but also on Shehzada and Adipurush. “Aamir Khan wanted only Sonu to sing a song (Main Ki Karaan) for Laal Singh Chaddha, the music for which was owned by T-Series. Bhushan extended an olive branch, and they mutually decided to meet and talk things out. At the end of it, they decided to let bygones be bygones. That also led to Sonu agreeing to collaborate on Shehzada, a film co-produced by Kumar and music composed by Pritam. He sang the title track. And things are all fine now. In fact, Adipurush, Bhushan’s most ambitious film, had a song sung by him too. Sonu also happily consented to be in the Jai Shri Ram cover along with other singers,” a source told the news portal.

When asked Sonu to comment on the patch-up with Bhushan, he said, “Let’s not make a big deal out of it. Peace and love is what should prevail eventually.” Meanwhile, back in 2020, Sonu Nigam had shared a video in the wake of Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide. He had said that a bigger mafia exists in the music industry without mentioning anybody's names.

However, after an article appeared against him, he targeted Bhushan and said, "Bhushan Kumar tune galat aadmi se panga liya hai. Tu bhool gaya woh time jab tu mere ghar aake bolta tha, 'Bhai bhai mere album kardo, Deewana kar do, Smita Thackeray se milwa do. Bhai Bal Thackeray se milwa do. Bhai don Abu Salem se bacha lo.’ Yaad hain ye sab cheeze?". After this, Bhushan’s wife Divya Khosla slammed Sonu for being "thankless" claiming that it was the T-Series that helped him flourish his career.
