Aamir Khan faced boycott calls over his past intolerance remark’ which affected his film, Laal Singh Chaddha ’s business. Although the actor clarified his statement and requested people to watch his film, it didn’t make any difference. His film made on budget of Rs 180 crore crashed at the box office, incurring huge losses to the makers involved. And now, the actor’s production house, Aamir Khan Productions, has dropped an apology clip on social media apparently to win back the audience’s support. However, a section of people reacted to the video hilariously and came up with memes on Twitter.

Soon after the post surfaced online, Twitterati’s reactions were divided. While some got emotional and forgave Aamir, some thought it to be a forced apology. One of the users couldn’t believe it and wrote, "Hacked For Sure!! Didn't expect this from Aamir...the voice ain't his.” While another wrote, “You don't need to explain or repeatedly ask for forgiveness for what you are not legaly or morally a accused. There are still lot of people and fans who believes in you. They want to see how you rise in these hard times! Not how you sit tight! sic.”

Meanwhile, Laal Singh Chaddha, an Indian adaptation of Tom Hanks starrer Forrest Gump, is directed by Advait Chandan and produced by Aamir Khan Productions. Aamir and Kareena Kapoor star in the lead role, while Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya are in supporting roles in the movie. The film was released on August 11 and reportedly earned Rs 127 crore worldwide.
