KK’s unfortunate demise was an irreparable loss for the entire music fraternity. The singer’s fans have been still remembering his legacy fondly and mourning his loss. On the occasion of Father’s Day yesterday (June 19), the late singer’s children Nakul and Taamara took to their social media handles to share emotional posts while remembering their father.
Talking about the same, KK’s son Nakul shared some unseen throwback pictures of his father playing cricket with him during his childhood. He also shared a picture with the ‘Pal’ singer from the present phase. A part of his heartfelt caption had read, “It’s been a brutally difficult day today, all the ads, mails and alerts about Father’s Day repeatedly breaking me down and bringing me to tears, eroding. I didn’t think I’d have the courage to even write this but Iv been trying to muster the strength to. You prioritised us always, and we have already spend more time together as a family than most do throughout their lifetimes. You loved us endlessly and enough to last us the rest of our lives. Your love will always keep us going, Iv been telling Taamara and Mom. If we broke down now, what would it mean for love? People should know that love is strength, not weakness. Love is kind and gentle, but not brittle.” Take a look at the entire post.
On the other hand, KK’s daughter Taamara also shared some throwback pictures wherein the late singer can be seen carrying his kids on his back and teaching his daughter how to play the synthesizer. She also shared a picture of her parents posing together. A part of Taamara’s caption read, “I would take the pain of losing you a 100 times, if it meant having you as my dad even for one second. Life is dark without you dad. You were the cutest most loving dad, who’d come home after a gig and wait to come lie down and give us cuddles. I miss you, I miss eating with you, I miss our laughing sessions, I miss our secret snacking rituals in the kitchen, I miss our farting competitions, I miss showing you my music and little voice note ideas, I miss your reaction dad. I miss holding your hand.” Take a look at the full post.
KK breathed his last on May 31 after suffering a cardiac arrest. The singer was performing at the Nazrul Manch in Kolkata after which he complained of feeling unwell. Unfortunately before being rushed to the hospital, he had collapsed at his hotel and was declared dead after being brought to the hospital.
