Killers Of The Flower Moon Trailer: Leonardo DiCaprio is torn between good and evil in this riveting real life tale

The second trailer of the Martin Scorsese directorial Killers Of The Flower Moon dropped recently. The movie stars Oscar recipients Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro in the lead roles. It is based on the FBI investigations of the incessant murders of the people from the Osage tribe in Oklahoma during the early 1920s which was known as the ‘Reign Of Terror.’

Talking about the same, it shows war hero Ernest Burkhart (Leonardo DiCaprio) being welcomed by his manipulative and shrewd uncle William Hale (Robert De Niro). William wishes to gain control over the humongous wealth acquired by the people of the Osage tribe ever since they found oil in their land. By the looks of the trailer, one can make out that Hale’s greedy intentions lead him to hatch a conspiracy behind the murder of the Osage tribal community. He also coaxes his nephew to marry into the tribe to fuel this conspiracy. However, Ernest falls genuinely in love with Millie Kyle (Lily Gladstone) a woman from the Osage tribe. Soon he is torn between his loyalty toward his uncle despite the latter’s malicious intent and his love for Kyle who pleads with him to save her family. Take a look at the trailer.

No sooner was the trailer released than fans also started reacting to the same. One of the fans stated, “DiCaprio & De Niro in a movie together with Scorsese directing is a recipe for a masterpiece.” While another netizen said, “This trailer is incredible. Much darker, scarier, and better than the previous one. Cannot wait to see this movie.” Another user added, “Oh man this looks so good, the battle in the Oscars is between this movie and Oppenheimer, is gonna be good.”

Killers Of The Flower Moon also stars Jesse Plemons, Tantoo Cardinal, Cara Jade Myers, JaNae Collins, and Jillian Dion in pivotal roles. It is set to be released on October 6, 2023, in the Indian theatres. The movie marks the sixth collaboration between Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese.
