Meanwhile, Kavin's upcoming film Star, directed by Pyaar Prema Kadhal's director Elan, will be released in theatres on May 10. The film revolves around an aspiring actor and chronicles the rise and struggles of a movie star. Apart from the lead actors Kavin and Preity, the film also stars Lal, Aaditi Pohankar, and Geetha Kailasam, among others.
