Karan Johar’s lobbying for telly stars with Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani; What’s the catch?

Well, our eagle-eyed faces are never losing track of some of the latest hullabaloo which is grappling the tinsel town. One of these includes Karan Johar ’s collaboration with some popular TV stars. From Shraddha Arya , Arjun Bijlani , Jannat Zubair Rahmani, Sriti Jha , and Arjit Taneja , KJo was seen teaming up with all of these popular names from the TV fraternity for ‘something special.’ Now we wonder why the director-producer is showing a sudden interest in actors from the TV industry or is it a way of redeeming himself after the numerous trolls and allegations of being biased towards the star kids from the big screens which especially catapulted to a whole new level after the tragic demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

For the unversed, Karan Johar has time and again been trolled for being biased towards the Bollywood elites and their kids along with allegedly ostracizing the other struggling actors who are striving hard to make a mark on their own. This outcry against the filmmaker-producer had increased rapidly after the unfortunate demise of Sushant Singh Rajput wherein some netizens also alleged that KJo had snubbed the late actor out of his films and had mocked him on his chat show. Amidst this, now Karan’s collaboration with many TV actors is definitely coming out as an activity that cannot be missed.

Actors Arjun Bijlani, Shraddha Arya, Sriti Jha, Arjit Taneja, and Jannat Zubai Rahmani took to their social media handles to let the world know about their collaboration with Karan Johar. While Arjun, Shraddha, Arjit, and Sriti shared pictures with the director-producer, Jannat shared the picture of a cup with the words ‘Dharma 2.0’ written on it. Karan also gifted them a handwritten note welcoming them to his ‘Dharma family’ along with his cult Koffee hamper. Well, we now only have to wait and watch, what is the real deal behind Karan’s sudden inclination towards the TV stars.
