The show’s producer Karan Johar even shared a funny moment of himself questioning Maheep Kapoor about Shalini’s newfound fame, leaving her embarrassed and asking him to stop recording.

Karan Johar questions Maheep Kapoor about Shalini Passi’s fame

Filmmaker Karan Johar shared a video of himself speaking to Maheep Kapoor. He asks her if she is feeling threatened by Shalini Passi because of all the attention she has been receiving since the premiere of the show Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives. The video begins with Karan trying to record Maheep who is sitting beside him on a couch. After Maheep asks why Karan is recording her, he pans the camera toward Maheep’s ‘Louis Vuitton' bag and says, “Is it LV season like 18 years ago?”. Maheep then reveals that the bag was gifted by Karan himself.

Later, Karan goes on to discuss the impacts of Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives as Shalini Passi has become an internet sensation, garnering all the attention from the viewers. Karan asked, “How does it feel that Shalini Passi is getting so much attention on this show, are you feeling threatened?” Maheep responds by asking Karan to stop recording.

Karan adds to the conversation by saying that he wants to know about Maheep's inner thoughts. But Maheep says that Karan is giving her a headache, the filmmaker, in turn, asks, “Is her (Shalini) popularity giving you a headache?”

For those unaware, Maheep Kapoor is the wife of Bollywood actor Sanjay Kapoor and the mother of Shanaya Kapoor. She garnered fame after featuring in Karan Johar-produced reality show Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives.

Shalini Passi, on the other hand, is an art enthusiast and collector who is married to businessman Sanjay Passi. She made her reality show debut with the third season of the show titled Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives. Since the premiere of the latest season, Shalini has become an internet sensation, known for her elegant demeanor and quirky nature.
