Kangana Ranaut comes in support of Raveena Tandon, says it is ‘Absolutely alarming’
Kangana Ranaut is someone who is always known to speak her mind. Not the one to mince her words, she does not battle an eyelid when it comes to calling a spade a spade. After yesterday’s unfortunate incident (in which Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon got surrounded by a mob after she was accused of attacking three women), the feisty Kangana Ranaut took to social media and expressed her opinion on the whole incident.
Kangana Ranaut posted, ‘What happened to Raveena Tandon ji is absolutely alarming; had there been 5-6 more people in the opposite group, she would have been lynched; we condemn such road rage outbursts; those people must be reprimanded. They must not get away with such violent and poisonous behaviour."

For the unversed, a video of Raveena Tandon being surrounded by a mob had gone viral (in no time) on the internet, after she was accused of abusing and assaulting three people at Carter Road near Rizvi College Bandra. As per the viral video which was posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), the actress’ driver was accused of rash driving and hitting three people in Bandra. Raveena was also said to be in a drunken state.
As per a report in Mid Day, Rajtilak Roshan (Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone 9) told the tabloid that, the complainant gave a false complaint in the alleged video and that they had checked the entire CCTV footage of the society and found that the actress's driver was reversing the car from the road into the society when this family was crossing the same lane.
And as for Raveena Tandon, the DCP said that she had tried to protect the driver from the mob. After the incident took place, both Raveena Tandon and the family went to the Khar police station and gave written complaints, which they both submitted letters stating they did not want to register any complaints. He also added that they had checked the CCTV footage and found out that the car did not hit anyone. He also clarified that; the actress (Raveena Tandon) was not drunk.
