'Just because you reduce the weight you preaching': Anshula Kapoor wears bodysuit and shares her insecurities; netizens react

Boney Kapoor's daughter Anshula Kapoor believes in taking one step at a time. She recently walked at Lakme Fashion week and left the internet stunned with her drastic weight loss transformation. And now, she slipped into a black body suit and penned a long note about exploring her body and overcoming her insecurities about her cellulite, and stretch marks. While a majority of netizens applauded her note about body positivity, some called out her for being too preachy after losing weight.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Anshula shared a couple of photos in a bodysuit and wrote, “Over the years, I’ve endlessly told myself that bodysuits aren’t flattering for my body shape. I’ve stopped myself from wearing them more times than I can count. But I had a realization earlier this year. There’s a lot of hidden joy in being able to try everything I never let myself explore before, at least once. I want to experience that thrill.”

She continued, “Am I owning it? Who cares!! Am I having fun? Oh, 100% yes! Still learning and trying not to let my stretch marks, cellulite, tummy rolls, etc get the best of me & my insecurities. This is me just letting my curls loose, having the best time with the team I trust most, and loving every minute of it.” Soon after her sister Janhvi Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor extended their support and loved her pictures. On the other hand, one of the netizens wrote, “Confidence would have been clicking such pictures with the overweight self! That’s real ‘who cares’” Another trolled, “Just because you reduce the weight you preaching.” “Inko bhi hawa lag gai” read one of the comments.

Earlier, Anshula turned showstopper for Itrh at Lakme Fashion Week, and her brother Arjun Kapoor cheered for her from the crowd. It is speculated that Anshula desires to try her hands at acting, but there is no major development about the same. On the personal front, she is dating screenwriter Rohan Thakkar, however, they haven’t made it official yet.
