Jigra and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video Box Office Collection Day 3: Alia Bhatt or Rajkummar Rao, know who is winning the race
The Alia Bhatt starrer Jigra, ever since the time it had got announced, was seen making news and for all the right reasons. Topping all the reasons was the fact that the spunky and extremely talented Alia Bhatt was co-producing the action thriller. On the other hand, there was the Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri-starrer Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, which too was released on the same day. Let us find out the box office standing of both these films on the third day of its release.
As for the box office figures (as per early estimates by Sacnilk, which happens to be most trusted tracker of the industry), the Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri-starrer Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video continued its pace even on the third day of its release. The film now stands at a box office collection of Rs 6.25 crore on the third day. With this, the film is sitting pretty with a box office collection of Rs 18.65 crore till now.
On the other hand, there is Alia Bhatt’s Jigra, which is also oing equally good (if not best) business at the box office. As per the early box office estimated figures of the film (as per the kind courtesy of Sacnilk), the film has now collected Rs 5.65 crore on its third day, this is after having collected Rs. 6.55 crores on the immediate Saturday after its release. The film has now managed to collect
Rs. 16.75 crore till now.
Even though the release of the two films (Jigra and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video) happened peacefully, there were two separate instances which had occurred with both the films. As for Jigra, there was Divya Khosla Kumar, who took to social media and posted, ‘Went to Citi Mall PVR for Jigra show. The theatre was totally empty … all theaters going empty every where. #Aliabhatt me sach mein Bahut #Jigra hai.. khud hi tickets karide aur fake collections announce kar diye ( Alia Bhatt has some guts to buy tickets of her own film and then announce fake collections). Wonder why paid media is silent. #weshdnotfooltheaudience #truthoverlies #HappyDussehra Х (sic).”
