'It's enough Raju, rise up' : Amitabh Bachchan's last voice note for the late comedian will leave you teary-eyed

The nation is still mourning the loss of comedian Raju Srivastava who passed away on September 21 at the age of 58. Now, Amitabh Bachchan took to his blog to write about the last voice note that he had sent to revive the comedian who was then in a coma. The actor furthermore paid his heartfelt tribute to Raju.

Paying his tribute to Raju Srivastava, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “Another colleague, friend, and a creative artist leaves us. A sudden ailment and (he is) gone before time, before his creativity time completion. Each day in the morning, with him in spirit and information from near ones."

According to a news report in India Today, the voice note sent by Amitabh Bachchan for Raju Srivastava said, "It's enough Raju. Rise up Raju, and keep teaching us all to laugh." The Amar Akbar Anthony actor furthermore stated in his blog the reason behind sending that voice note for the late comedian.

The superstar wrote, “They got advised to send a voice to awaken his condition. I did and they played it for him in his state in his ears. On one instance he did open his eye a bit and then, went away. His sense of timing and the colloquial humour of his birth shall remain with us. It was unique, open, frank, and filled with humour. He smiles from the Heavens now and will be the reason for mirth with the God’s.”

Raju Srivastava was hospitalized at Delhi’s AIIMS hospital in August after he had suffered a massive heart attack. The comedian’s health was looking up in between but saw a fateful deterioration a few days before his demise. He was cremated in the Nigambodh Ghat in Delhi yesterday (September 22) according to Hindu traditions. The celebrated comedian is now survived by his wife Shikha Srivastava and his son Ayushmann.
