'Itna paisa hone ke bawjood': Abhishek and Aishwarya's outfits at Manish Malhotra's Diwali bash get big thumbs down from netizens

Last night Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan arrived in their traditional best outfits for the Diwali party hosted by designer Manish Malhotra. While Abhishek wore a bright red kurta with blue and silver coloured details on it, Aishwarya looked pretty in a pink sharara dress. The duo happily posed for the paparazzi stationed outside the designer’s residence. The video of the same has surfaced on the internet and the netizens have brutally trolled the Bachchans for opting for such outfits.

The video posted on a paparazzo’s Instagram account shows Abhishek and Aishwarya stepping out of their car parked outside Manish Malhotra’s residence. The couple stopped to pose for the cameras and then Abhishek helped Aishwarya climb the steps to Manish’s house. Soon after netizens flocked to the comment section and gave harsh reactions to the couple’s party wear. One of the users wrote, “In logo k paas stylists hone k bawajood. Itna paisa hone k bawajood itne ghatiya kapde pehene hai . Aishwarya’s clothes are still better. But Abhishek ne itna wahiyaat red kyu pehna Hai.” Another reacted, “Aisa lag raha dono party mein nahi kse jgha bheek mangna ja raha hon.” “What is Abhishek wearing? Talking about Manish Malhotra’s Diwali party, the celebration was a star-studded affair as not only Abhishek and Aishwarya, other Bollywood celebs including Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Karan Johar, Kartik Aaryan, Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, Shilpa Shetty, Kiara Advani, Sidharth Malhotra, and many more were in attendance. The inside pictures and videos from the bash are doing rounds on the internet.

Meanwhile, workwise, Aishwarya was recently seen in Mani Ratnam’s period drama Ponniyin Selvan alongside a talented ensemble cast including Vikram, Karthi, and Trisha among others. On the other hand, Abhishek was last seen in Tushar Jalota’s Dasvi alongside Yami Gautam, and Nimrit Kaur. He will next be seen in a sports drama Ghoomer directed by R Balki.
