Even though he has been born to a family of filmmakers, Varun Dhawan shrugged off the nepotism tag ages back, which was possible majorly because of his hard work, dedication and sincerity. After he debuted in Bollywood with the Karan Johar directed Student Of The Year, Varun Dhawan went onto do films which consolidated his position as the front runner of the ‘Numero Uno’ of Bollywood.
One look at the repertoire of Varun Dhawan, one will see that it's filled with major hits, superhits and smash hits. There is hardly any film that has not performed well at the box office. Taking into consideration his ‘hit record’, one question that always pops up in everyone’s mind is, when will Varun Dhawan be making his international debut.
It now seems that, the answer to this question will be given soon and is ‘in the making’. As per a source-based report in Pinkvilla, it has been stated that, in lieu of the superlative appreciation that his show Citadel Honey Bunny has garnered, the makers of the original series will now be seen casting Varun Dhawan in the show!
In other words, the aforementioned report stated that, seeing the bumper response of the Indian spin-off of the Citadel Honey Bunny series, Varun is now all set to be making his international debut with the Russo Brothers' directed Citadel.
The same report stated that, after having seen Varun Dhawan’s performance in Citadel Honey Bunny, the Russo Brothers (creators of the original Citadel) were so impressed that they are now in talks with Bollywood superstar actor for a full-fledged role in an international project.
The same report also stated that Varun Dhawan had even met Angelia Russo at the super grand premiere. Speaking about Angelia Russo, she was reportedly all praises for Varun Dhawan.
