It is not a hidden fact that Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s divorce has been taking a murkier turn with each passing day. Now, we hear that it has also taken a toll on those family members and relatives of the estranged couple who share a close equation with both of them. One of the being global star Priyanka Chopra.

Priyanka is married to Joe Jonas’ brother Nick Jonas also also shares a close rapport with Sophie Turner. According to a news report in Life & Style, the Bajirao Mastani actress is now forced to pick sides since Joe and Sophie’s separation is being a bumpy ride. A source close to the development told the publication, “Sophie and Joe kept a lot of their friends separate, but a few are caught in the middle of this mess. She and So­phie were very close. There was once a time when Sophie thought she and Joe would move to London and so would Nick and Priyanka. Priyanka loves Sophie and her nieces and doesn’t want to do anything to jeopar­dise them being in her life.”

Sophie Turner and Priyanka Chopra shared a close bond

Sophie and Priyanka’s close bond was visible right since the latter first became engaged to Nick. The Game Of Thrones star also attended Nick and Priyanka’s wedding in Rajasthan. The girls along with Kevin Jonas’ wife Danielle called themselves ‘J Sisters.’ The ladies also made an appearance in Jonas Brother tracks like ‘Sucker For You’ and ‘What A Man Gotta Do.’ The Sky Is Pink actress is also very close to the estranged couple’s daughters Willa and Delphine.

Joe and Sophie shared a joint statement in September last month announcing their split. It read, “Statement from the two of us: After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why, but truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”
