Is Kareena Kapoor no longer a part of Yash starrer Toxic? Here’s what we know

All the fans of the Bollywood queen Kareena Kapoor were super excited with the rumoured buzz that she will now be a part of the Yash starrer Toxic. The actress was rumoured to be playing the role of Yash’s sister. It now seems that the fans of Kareena Kapoor and superstar Yash will have to wait for a bit longer to see them both together in one frame!

As per a latest source-based report in Pinkvilla, it has been said that Kareena Kapoor Khan is now no longer a part of the film Toxic. The report stated that actress Kareena Kapoor and the team of Toxic have now reportedly parted ways mutually. And the reasons stated for the same have been reported as date issues. In other words, the dates of Kareena Kapoor were not getting aligned with the dates of actor Yash, which he had allotted for the film. That’s why, the makers have reportedly now parted ways with each other.

The same report added that, with the exit of Kareena Kapoor, the film’s makers have now already initiated the conversations with many actresses to play the part (which was supposed to be played by Kareena Kapoor Khan. As for the film’s plot, it has been said that the film’s premise has an extremely strong emotional bond between the siblings.

And as far as the sister’s role is concerned, the role of the sister has been reported to be an extremely crucial element in the script and also in the narrative of the script. That’s why, the film’s makers have now reportedly looked out to cast actresses who have got an extremely strong pan Indian presence.

The film Toxic, will now be featuring Kiara Advani as the female lead and has been paired opposite the film’s main lead Yash. The film is being directed by the National Award-winning director, Geethu Mohandas. As for the release date of the film, it has now been reported that the scheduled date of the film to be released will be April 10, 2025.
