Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare Wedding: Aamir Khan’s son-in-law dances at his own baraat, ditches sherwani for shorts

Two individuals who fell in love during the COVID lockdown will embark on their happily ever after today. We are talking about Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan and her trainer turned beau Nupur Shikhare. The madly in love pair got engaged in 2022 and are set to tie the knot today on 3rd January. Well, on the morning of their big day, both the bride and groom were spotted by the paparazzi. Ira looked cute in a mini skirt as she walked into a salon wearing a headgear which said ‘bride to be’. Meanwhile Nupur was snapped jogging from Santa Cruz to Bandra.

The groom jogged 8 km, all the way to the venue of his wedding in a black sleeveless t-shirt and white shorts. Yes, you read that right. Well, a few minutes ago, Nupur and his groomsmen reached the venue. A video of the groom dancing at his own baraat while playing a dhol has now surfaced on social media. Nupur’s excitement is infectious and it is wholesome to see how happy he is about starting this new chapter in his life. But what left many netizens surprised is that he ditched a traditional sherwani or a tuxedo suit and instead continued to proceed with the baraat in his gym wear.

For instance, one netizen wrote: “Dulhe Raja ko kya hua bavala ho gya kya”, whereas another fan joked, “When you realize you are Aamir khan 's son in law.” A third comment read: “Morning video m b yhi kapde the ..it means ye bnda नहाया b nhi h🙄”, whereas a nasty troll wrote: “Why Aamir Khan has weird people around him.. men women…” However, there were many fans who showered Nupur’s video with love. A happy netizen pointed out: “Seen a real happy dhula after long time”, whereas another wrote: “Love the simplicity of everything..no pretences and keeping up with the Joneses.”
