Inside Karan Deol and Drisha Acharya wedding: Dharmendra dances to dhol beat; Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol beam with joy

Sunny Deol’s elder son Karan Deol finally got married to his fiance Drisha Acharya on Sunday in Mumbai. The Deol family arrived with groom Karan, who was seen riding on a horse to the marriage venue. He was dressed in a white kurta and turban and looked dapper. Veteran actor Dharmendra beamed with joy at his grandson's wedding and even shook a leg with baraatis to dhol beats. He wore a brown suit paired with a white shirt and tie. His son Bobby Deol, who wore a self-printed white sherwani, accompanied him. Several videos and pictures from the wedding have been doing rounds on the internet.

Sunny, who was dressed in a white kurta-pyjama paired with a long green sherwani, walked along with his son to the marriage venue. He was also seen grooving to dhol beats with his son and baraatis. Bride Drisha Acharya arrived in an all-red wedding lehenga and smiled as she walked towards Karan at the wedding. In the pictures, the bride and groom were seated together for the final ritual. Karan’s uncle Abhay Deol also arrived with baraatis and looked handsome in a white kurta, pyjama and jacket. He smiled at the paparazzi stationed at the wedding venue. Meanwhile, Karan’s wedding festivities began with a roka ceremony, followed by Haldi, Mehendi and Sangeet ceremony. On Friday, the Deol family came together for a grand musical night ahead of the wedding. Sunny was dressed as his famous Gadar character Tara Singh and performed on Main Nikla Gaddi Leke song. While Bobby grooved with his wife on his song Humko Sirf Tumse Pyaar hai from Barsaat. Actor Ranveer Singh lifted Karan on stage and danced with him during the Sangeet.

Meanwhile, workwise Karan will next be seen in Apne 2. While Sunny is geared up for the release of Gadar 2 which is scheduled to arrive in theatres on August 11, 2023.
