'He only cares about his hair' : Tunisha Sharma's lawyer takes a dig at Sheezan Khan's plea to not have a haircut while in custody

The prime accused in actress Tunisha Sharma ’s death case, her Ali Baba: Daastan-E-Kabul co-star and ex-beau Sheezan Khan is currently in 14-day judicial custody. The late actress’ lawyer has now revealed that Khan has submitted a plea to the court requesting that his hair not be cut till January 2, 2023. Sheezan has also asked for home-cooked food and medicines till he is in custody.

According to a news report by India Today, Tunisha’s lawyer said on the matter, “The way he is giving so much importance to his hair shows how much negligence he has inside of him when it comes to Tunisha. Today also, he only cares about his hair.” The actor has asked for his hair not to be cut till January 2 and the rest will be decided by the jailor’s decision.

The report added that Sheezan has further submitted a plea requesting home-cooked food, visits from his family, medicines, and security for himself inside the jail. A Mumbai court has granted Khan’s wish for medicines and home-cooked on Saturday (December 31). Tunisha’s lawyer said that the court has also agreed to allow Sheezan to be visited by his family members and given security according to the jail manual.

The lawyer revealed the main reason behind Sheezan Khan asking for security to be his being in a frightening state of mind. The lawyer was quoted, “Sheezan had brought up ‘love jihad’. We did not bring this up. He was the one who claimed he was afraid because of Shraddha Walkar-Aaftab Poonawala case. What he is afraid of, he will only know.”

Sheezan was arrested post-Tunisha Sharma’s suicide after her mother levied some serious allegations against him. Tunisha’s mother Vanita Sharma alleged that he cheated on her despite promising marriage. She also alleged that Sheezan had slapped Tunisha after the latter had confronted him about cheating on her.
