It is no secret that singer Arijit Singh has carved a niche for himself in the film industry with his melodious voice. But not many know that the singer has a humble upbringing and leads a simple lifestyle. A video of him from his hometown West Bengal has surfaced on the internet wherein he could be seen wearing simple dhoti pants and a t-shirt with a scarf on his head. He is seen heading out seemingly for grocery shopping on his bike and interacting with neighbours in Bengali.
As soon as the video surfaced, the fans showered love and appreciation for Arijit’s down-to-earth attitude. On the other hand, trolls slammed him for not wearing a helmet once he got on his bike. A fan wrote, “He is a simple leaving great heart Man” Another commented, “Is bande ki baat hi alag hain respected sir.”One of the netizens reacted, “No helmet, WB police challan bhejo re.” “He didn't wear helmet can't u see.?” read a comment. “Hadd hai he is star tou bhi thodi dangh k kapde pehan sakta hai,” read another comment. Earlier, the trolls targeted megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Anushka Sharma for not wearing helmets post which drivers of both vehicles were fined. Coming back to Arijit. The singer recently made headlines when he touched the feet of cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni during the Indian Premiere League(IPL) opening ceremony. His gesture won the fans’ hearts. Last month, he also survived an injury while performing live in concert after a fan pulled his hand.
Meanwhile, workwise, Arjit recently crooned the romantic track, Phir Aur Kya Chahiye from Zara Hatke Zara Bachke featuring Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan. Earlier, his track, Apna Bana Le from Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon Bhediya became a chartbuster.
