In an interview, Unni said that Marco is an "unapologetically honest and brutal" story. The actor plays a ruthless villain in the spin-off of Mikhael. Unni will reprise his role as Marco Jr, a cold-blooded gangster, in the new crime thriller movie. For those who haven't watched Mikhael, it revolved around a man's attempt to save his sister from a revenge attack. The ruthless villain, Marco Jr (played by Unni), seeks vengeance for his brother’s death.
