From Priyanka Chopra to Kartik Aaryan, these celebs gave Anant Ambani & Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding bash a miss

Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant Ambani and his fiance Radhika Merchant’s three day long pre-wedding celebration in Jamnagar, Gujarat was a grand event. The extravaganza had performances by Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, Akon and even pop sensation Rihanna. Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and their daughter Raha Kapoor left netizens gushing with their cuteness. Meanwhile Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, their sons Taimur and Jeh along with Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan gave us royal family photos. It was basically a star-studded event with almost everyone from Bollywood in attendance. But there were some celebrities who were missing from the pre-wedding festivities of the century. Priyanka Chopra Jonas

The global icon lives in LA with her husband Nick Jonas and daughter Malti Marie. She had to give the event a miss but her mother Madhu Chopra, who was a guest at Anant and Radhika’s pre-wedding bash, promised that PeeCee will ‘make up for it’.

Kartik Aaryan

According to buzz, Bollywood’s heartthrob Kartik Aaryan is busy shooting for his much awaited horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which is why he couldn’t make it to the Ambani bash.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli

As we all know, actress Anushka Sharma and her cricketer husband Virat Kohli welcomed their son Akaay Kohli in London last month. We are guessing this is probably why they weren’t in attendance in Jamnagar.

Karan Johar

No grand party is complete without KJo! However, buzz suggests that he couldn’t make it for Anant and Radhika’s celebrations because he is neck deep in the planning of Yodha’s promotions. However, his lead actor Sidharth Malhotra took a break to attend the bash with his wife Kiara Advani.

Hrithik Roshan

Last month, the Greek God of Bollywood took to his social media handle to share that he had pulled a muscle. Hrithik posted a picture holding crutches, which left several fans worried. We are guessing he is in recovery mode at the moment.

Kriti Sanon

We don’t exactly know why Kriti couldn’t make it to the grand Ambani bash. But we do know that she’s in Gulmarg, Kashmir at the moment for a retreat with her team at The Tribe fitness studio, which she co-founded.

Well, maybe we’ll get to see these faces on Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding, which is set to take place on 12th July this year.
