From Big Bs' letter to 'Kesariya' song shoot, Alia Bhatt offers glimpses into her four months of 'selfie life'

Newlywed Alia Bhatt has recently treated fans to beautiful selfies reliving her best moments of 2022 from receiving Big B's letter on Gangubai Kathiawadi’s success to shooting the Brahmastra song ‘ Kesariya .’

Taking to her Instagram handle, the Kalank actress posted a series of photos of herself capturing the moments from January to April. The first picture features her in an olive green jacket matching the sun-lit greenery in the background. The second picture shows her in a white outfit wherein she is holding a handwritten congratulatory note from legendary Amitabh Bachchan , whereas the third photo gives an unseen glimpse of herself from the Kesariya song shoot. In the fourth photo, she looks fresh as she poses in a pool. “Jan - April ISL ( In Selfie Life )” she captioned the photo. Take a look:

Earlier, Alia shared a series of clicks featuring herself with the moon. The post was meant to update the fans that her film Gangubai Kathiawadi has been released on Netflix . “Movie night in🌙#GangubaiKathiawadi streaming on Netflix🍿🤍”, she captioned the post. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali , the film is based on the chapter titled 'The Matriarch of Kamathipura' from Hussain Zaidi's book Mafia Queens of Mumbai.

Meanwhile, Alia tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend and actor Ranbir Kapoor on April 14 in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai’s apartment Vastu. Since then, she has been giving glimpses of her fairytale wedding pictures and fans are going gaga over them. “Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot – the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship – we got married. With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites. Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special. Love, Ranbir and Alia,” she wrote in an Instagram post as she shared the first pictures of herself and Ranbir after the wedding.

On the work front, Alia is currently shooting for Karan Johar ’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani alongside Ranveer Singh . The film also stars veteran actors Dharmendra , Shabana Azmi , and Jaya Bachchan. Besides it, she is also awaiting the release of Ayan Mukerji ’s Brahmastra where she is sharing the screen space with her husband Ranbir Kapoor. The film is set to release on September 9, 2022.
