Legendary actress and Sanjay Dutt’s mother Nargis passed away on May 3, 1981, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. She left for her heavenly abode just three days before Sanjay's debut film Rocky hit the theatres. As today(May 3, 2023) marks her 42nd death anniversary, the Munnabhai MBBS actor penned a heartwrenching note on social media.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Sanjay shared a throwback picture wherein he could be seen holding apparently his newborn sister while Nargis sat beside him. “Miss you, Maa! Your love and warmth continue to guide me every day, and I am forever grateful for the lessons you taught me,” he captioned the photo. Soon after, netizens reacted to his childhood picture and showered love. While one user commented, “Omg cute baba.” Another wrote, “Bhai bachpan sai hi aankho mai khouf hai bhai k.” Take a look at the post:

Last year, Sanjay shared a bunch of beautiful photos of her mother Nargis on her death anniversary and wrote, “Not a single moment goes by when I don’t remember you. Ma, you were the basis of my life and the strength of my soul. I wish my wife and kids would have met you for you to give them all your love and blessings. I miss you today and every day!" Meanwhile, Sanjay was last seen in Shamshera alongside Ranbir Kapoor. He has several interesting projects lineup in his kitty. He will next be seen in the romantic comedy-drama, Ghudchadi, co-starring Raveena Tandon, Parth Samthaan, Khushali Kumar and Aruna Irani. Besides this, he is part of Ahmed Khan’s Baap which also stars Sunny Deol, Mithun Chakraborty and Jackie Shroff. Reportedly, he has also signed an untitled project with his Munnabhai MBBS co-star Arshad Warsi; and is also said to be part of Hera Pheri 4 alongside Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal.
