With Telugu superstar Allu Arjun officially confirming that his most-awaited movie, Pushpa 2: The Rule, will not arrive in cinemas on August 15, there seems to be a mad rush to grab the coveted date. As per the latest buzz, the makers of Dulquer Salmaan's upcoming movie, Lucky Bhaskar, are also considering moving up its release to the Independence Day weekend.
Earlier, the producers announced their intention to release Lucky Bhaskar in cinemas on September 27. It seemed like a perfect date, with Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan's OG facing delays due to production reasons, allowing Lucky Bhaskar to stick with its original release plan. However, with the makers of Jr NTR's upcoming movie, Devara: Part 1, zeroing in on the same date , the competition got a little intense at the box office for Lucky Bhaskar.

Lucky Bhaskar is a period drama written and directed by Venky Atluri. In the film, Dulquer plays an average middle-class Indian working a 9-5 desk job at a bank. Based on the teaser, he accidentally stumbles on a pile of cash, which promises an escape from the trappings of middle-class life.
Lucky Bhaskar seems like a feel-good caper drama and also stars Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead.
