Drishyam 2 actor Ajay Devgan suffers from THIS frightening phobia apart from his fear of heights

Like many others, Bollywood celebrities too have some kind of phobias which they suffer from. While a few decide to hide it, others confess openly in public. And Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn falls in the second category as he has no qualms in confessing his fears publicly. Recently, the actor opened up about his fears of elevators while narrating a frightening story.

In a recent appearance on a chat show, Ajay recalled an incident that led to the phobia. The actor said that once it so happened that he was in the lift and suddenly, it came hurling down from the third or fourth floor to the basement. He was stuck in the lift for around one and a half hours, which left him traumatized. Later that episode, the actor often gets claustrophobic in a lift and prefers to take the stairs, whenever possible.

Earlier, Ajay had confessed fear of heights at the time he was shooting for his 2016 film, Shivaay. The actor shared that he had to hang himself from a cliff in Uttarakhand for one of the action sequences. Sharing the photo on Twitter, he wrote, “Trying to overcome my fear of heights, do you guys think this will help?” We wonder if he had actually overcome it.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ajay is currently riding high in the success of his recently released crime thriller Drishyam 2. The film is the sequel to his 2015 film Drishyam, the Hindi remake of the Malayalam hit of the same name. The film stars Ajay alongside Tabu, Shriya Sharan, Ishita Dutta, and Akshaye Khanna. Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the film has been making moolah at the box office ever since it was released on November 19. Just in 5 days of release, the movie enter the Rs 100 crore club and recently crossed the Rs 200 crore mark worldwide.
