Do Patti: Kriti Sanon and Kajol unveil release date of their Netflix thriller in an intriguing promo

Bollywood actresses Kajol and Kriti Sanon will mark their second on-screen collaboration with their upcoming film, Do Patti. They first worked together in Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale co-starring Shah Rukh Khan and Varun Dhawan. Their upcoming thriller is one of the most awaited films of 2024. On September 30, Kriti and Kajol unveiled the release date of their film with an intense promo.

The makers of Do Patti shared the first promo of the film on social media, revealing its release date on Netflix. The video begins with Kajol entering a cafe and telling someone on the call that she has found her while looking at Kriti. She then grabs her by the shoulder and tells her that the police always come late in films. After Kriti says she has to go somewhere, Kajol tells her she won’t let her go just like that. When Kajol starts asking Kriti about her whereabouts, the actress asks what she wants. To this, Kajol says that she needs to know the secret that Kriti is hiding. When Kajol tells her to reveal everything she knows, Kriti says that all things will be revealed on October 25.

The makers captioned the promo, “Ab hoga khel shuru, lekin iss kahaani ke hai do pehlu. Do Patti releases on 25 October, only on Netflix.”

Helmed by debutante Shashanka Chaturvedi and backed by Kanika Dhillon’s Kathha Pictures and Kriti Sanon’s Blue Butterfly Films, Do Patti is written by Kanika Dhillon herself. Starring Kajol and Kriti, the film tells the story of two twin sisters (played by Kriti), and a police officer (played by Kajol) who seek to uncover the truth in a murder case. Set in the fictional hill town of Devipur in Uttarakhand, the film also stars Tanvi Azmi and Brijendra Kala while marking the film debut of television actor Shaheer Sheikh. This is the first time Kriti will have a double role in a film. Do Patti will make its world premiere on October 25 on Netflix.
