Ahead of the release of the much-awaited Ek Villain Returns , the makers reportedly had to make a few modifications to get censor certification. It is being reported that Disha Patani ’s hot scenes have been either chopped or reduced from the film. The visuals of an intimate scene also shown in the trailer featuring the actress have also been reduced by 9 seconds by the Central Board of Film Certification as per reports.
Directed by Mohit Suri , Ek Villain Returns is the upcoming standalone sequel to his 2014 film which also stars John Abraham , Arjun Kapoor , and Tara Sutaria . The censor body has awarded the film with a U/A certificate. It is also reported that CBFC’s examining committee has targeted some terms like Mental, and B**ch, in the dialogues on the butchering table. Visuals of mutilated body parts in violent scenes were also asked to delete or modify.
The trailer of the film shows John and Arjun facing off each other while Tara and Disha seem to have a plan of their own going on the side. There’s a new villain in town who is targeting girls with one-sided lovers and wants to be the messiah of broken-hearted lovers. Unlike In the 2014 film where Riteish Deshmukh plays the villain in Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor ’s love story.
In the film, Disha is romancing John while Tara is cast opposite Arjun. The song of the film has increased the craze among the young audience to watch the movie which is a great combo of sex and violence. The run time of the movie is 2 hours 8 minutes and 54 seconds, similar to that of the original movie of 129 minutes.
