Filmmaker Siva is thrilled with the final cut of his upcoming movie, Kanguva. Starring Tamil superstar Suriya in the lead role, Kanguva marks the biggest production Siva has ever been a part of.
During an event in Chennai, Siva revealed that he had already shown the film to many people as part of the test screening. Buoyed by the positive reactions, Siva expressed his eagerness to see the audience's response.

"Kanguva has come out very well. We all liked it. Many people have already watched Kanguva and given good feedback. Now, I am eager to show it to the audience," said Siva.
Kanguva has been in the making for a long time. The film went into production in 2022, and Siva continued shooting until earlier this year. The film caught the audience's imagination after the filmmakers unveiled the motion poster, hinting at a period setting. Interest among movie buffs has only grown with every reveal from the filmmakers.
Earlier this year, a new teaser for Kanguva was revealed, adding to the film's pre-release hype. It's a fantasy drama that spans 500 years in time. Suriya portrays multiple looks in the movie, from a sharply dressed, ultra-stylish modern man to the wild appearance of a medieval warlord.

Kanguva is expected to elevate the stature of the Tamil film industry. Producer K. E. Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green described "Kanguva" as Tamil cinema's answer to movies like Baahubali, RRR, and KGF.
Kanguva is also the most expensive film in Suriya's career. The filmmakers are expected to announce the release date soon as they are waiting for the Lok Sabha election to conclude.
