‘Dhoom wapis aani chaiye..’: Hrithik Roshan and Abhishek Bachchan posing together at Jio Studios event makes fans nostalgic

A slew of prominent personalities from Bollywood attended the Jio Studios event held on Wednesday night in Mumbai. Among them, the childhood buddies and actors Hrithik Roshan and Abhishek Bachchan also marked their presence. The two posed together for the shutterbugs and left fans to go on a trip to memory lane. While some were reminded of their movie Dhoom 2 , others said it is Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon reunion only Kareena Kapoor Khan is missing.

A video of Hrithik and Abhishek from the event is doing rounds on the internet. Hrithik could be seen sporting an off-white blazer over a black t-shirt paired with grey pants, while Abhishek looked handsome in a blue suit. They were also seen talking to each other while posing for the paparazzi in the short clip. Reacting to them, one of the fans wrote, “Dhoom wapis aani chaiye..” Another commented, “Dhoom 2 ki yaadein taaza Ho gyi, 17 years passed.” One of the netizens stated, “Main Prem ki Deewani Hoon reunion missing kareena kapoor khan.” “Only one missing here in Kareena... For the unawares, Hrithik and Abhishek featured together in the second installment of Yash Raj Film’s Dhoom franchise. The 2006 film also has Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Uday Chopra and Bipasha Basu and Rimi Sen in pivotal roles. Before that, , they also starred in Sooraj Barjatya’s 2003 film, Main Prem Ki Deewani Hu, alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan. Both the films performed well at the box office, and their onscreen presence were liked by the fans.

Meanwhile, Hrithik is currently geared up for his actioner Fighter directed by Siddharth Anand. He will be sharing the screen space with Deepika Padukone for the first time in the upcoming movie. On the other hand, Abhishek will next be seen in R Balki’s Ghoomer and the Hindi remake of Tamil film, Oththa Seruppu Size7, as per reports.
