Dhanashree feels Neha Kakkar’s O Sajna is even better than Falguni Pathak’s song; Priyank Sharma has this to say

Netizens all over social media have been divided over Neha Kakkar ’s latest track O Sajna . Also featuring actor Priyank Sharma and content creator Dhanashree Verma , the song is a remake of Falguni Pathak ’s iconic number Maine Payal Hai Chhankai . One major reason why the music video made headlines is that the Dandiya Queen herself reposted negative reviews of Neha’s track shared by fans on her Instagram handle. But she later joined the singer for an episode of Indian Idol 13. This left fans wondering if their social media war was just a publicity stunt.

Well, amid this controversy, Dhanashree has now shared her views on the original as well as the remake of the song. In a report shared by Mid Day, she was quoted saying, “We listen to this song every year, when we found out it is being recreated we both got very excited because we know the song is loved by everyone and it will be loved even further if you recreate it. Our composers Tanishk (Bagchi) Neha, Jaani, all these guys together made it even better. They justified what they had to do!”

Meanwhile, her co-star Priyank revealed what he thought of Neha’s O Sajna. He shared, “It took me exactly 45-50 seconds to say yes after hearing the song. It's an iconic song already and the way they made it is commendable. They justified the iconicness of the previous one for real.”

In the music video of the new track, Priyank’s character is seen double dating Neha and Dhanashree. They seem very happy with him but the next day they get together to teach him a lesson after catching him red-handed.
